Russian ombudsman Vladimir Lukin said amnesty of the participants in the riots in Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square on May 6 will enhance government prestige. Earlier, lawmakers from the Communist faction at the State Duma lower house of the Russian parliament Anatoly Lokot and Boris Kashin submitted a draft resolution to amnesty these persons.
