Ukraine Day 1242: LIVE UPDATES BELOW. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and one wounded today; another wounded previously died of his wounds.

Fighting was most intense at the Svetlodarsk Bulge in the previous reporting period, said Col. Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] issues at a briefing July 13, according to Liga.net

One Ukrainian soldier was killed and one was wounded. There was also an additional report of a soldier dying of his wounds over night.

On the Lugansk line, militants fired machine guns on Ukrainian positions in Krmyskoye. At Stanitsa Luganskaya they opened fire with mortar-launchers. In Popasnyansky District, they fired on ATO positios at Novozvanovka.
On the Donetsk like, a tank shelled Luganskoye; at Troitskoye, militants fired mortar-launchers and from armored vehicles and also used small arms. The ATO returned fire. There was fighting also at Gorlovka, Zaytsevo and Verkhmnyetoretskoye, including from a BMP. At the Butovka Mine, grenade-launchers were fired after midnight. Avdeyevka came under fire from 17:00 until late in the evening from small arms and an RPG.
On the Mariupol line, there was firing on Maryinka damaging several homes. Militants fired machine guns on Krasnogorovka and shelled Novomikhailovka. Near Dukochayevsk, there was shelling of Beryozovoye; Pavlopol, Gnutovo, Talakovka and Vodyanoye were also struck. 
OSCE observers recorded a military convoy of armor near Slavyanoserbsk and Mariupol. Ukrainian military intelligence had earlier reported that Russian spetsnaz were deployed in this area.
