Ukraine Day 1251: LIVE UPDATES BELOW. One Ukrainian soldier was killed and two were wounded in battle in the previous reporting period; one separatist fighter was also killed.

There were less attacks from Russia-backed forces today but still towns regularly attacked suffered again. Later in the day was quiet.

One Ukrainian soldier was killed and 2 were wounded, Liga.net reported, citing the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] morning dispatch for the previous reporting period.

As we reported, last night two adults and two children were injured in the shelling of Maryinka.

On the Mariupol line, militants fired heavy machine guns and small arms near Gnutovo and Shirokino. On the Donetskl like, there was firing on Verkhnyetoretskoye and the Butovka Mine.
On the Lugansk line, Krymskoye was attacked with grenade-launchers and mortar-launchers.
In the evening dispatch, the ATO reported relative quiet. There were firing on Krymskoye and Shirokino, also Donets.

The separatist news service DAN-News.info reported that one fighter for the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” was killed in battle today.  DAN-News cited self-styled DNR commander Eduard Basurin as saying that Ukrainian forces had attacked positions along the front line using 82-mm, 120-mm, and 122-mm artillery and tanks, but did not provide details as to the locations.
