Four Ukrainian Soldiers Wounded On Saturday Night

On Sunday morning, August 6, the Ukrainian military reported that ceasefire violations were nearly half of what they were the previous day. Heavy fighting was still reported in the Donetsk region, particularly near Avdeyevka where heavy rockets and artillery were used, and Pesky where Russian-backed fighters used a BMP infantry fighting vehicle.

According to the Ukrainian military ATO Facebook page, Russian saboteurs also continue to lay mines on Ukrainian-controlled territory near Russian-occupied Crimea, as well as on the water. 

A total of four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, and heavy fighting was reported in the Lugansk and Mariupol sectors as well.
