One Ukrainian Soldier Killed; Four Wounded in Battles at Avdeyevka and Starognatovka

Russia-backed forces attacked Ukrainian positions 35 times; one Ukrainian soldier was killed in battle and four were wounded, Liga.net reported, citing the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation].

On the Maritime line, from 18:00 to about midnight, militants attacked ATO positions near Starognatovka with mortar-launchers, grenade-launchers and an armed BMP. They also fired from a tank and 152-mm artillery. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in battle.
Most attacks were made on the Avdeyevka industrial zone with various types of grenade-launchers. Ukrainian forces returned fire; one Ukrainian soldier was killed and one wounded in battle.
On the Donetsk line, civilian homes were attacked in Zaytsevo when the International Committee of the Red Cross was attempting to deliver aid. There were fires put out by the ATO, who did not return fire.

On the Lugansk line, militants fired grenade-launchers at Novoaleksandrovka and Novozvanovka.
