4 Ukrainian Soldiers Wounded in Last 48 Hours; 2 Officers Die in Military Plane Crash

Four Ukrainian were wounded in the previous reporting period, Gordonua.com reported, citing the ATO [the Anti-Terrorist Operation] on Facebook.

There were 18 attacks by Russia-backed forces, said the ATO, and they moved to the Maritime line. There was shelling from mortars and grenade-launchers on Vodyanoye, where one Ukrainian soldier was wounded, and shelling also on the approaches of Beryozovoye, where another Ukrainian soldier was wounded.

Heavy artillery was also used at Pavlopol and Talakovka.

On the Lugansk line, another Ukrainian soldier was wounded near Novotoshkovskoye, bringing the total to four Ukrainian soldiers wounded in the previous reporting period.

Ukrainian forces returned fire.

A military plane on a training flight crashed today, killing two soldiers, Gordonua.com reported, citing TV 112 Ukraina. The pilots were reported to be experienced; one was a major.
