Col. Dmytro Hutsulyak of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported attacks on Novoaleksandrovka and Luganskoye. Opytnoye was also attacked by 82-mm mortars and grenade-launchers. Vodyanoye, Shirokino and the Butkovka mine were also attacked. Militants also fired on Pavlopol
“The Easter Ceasefire supported by the leaders of the Normandy Four lasted only 10 minutes, Darya Olifer, press secretary for Leonid Kuchma in the Trilateral Contact Group said, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
There were 101 attacks from March 30 to April 2, she said.
The Ukrainian delegation said it is ready to turn over to Russia 23 prisoners who had violated Ukrainian sovereignty and territory integrity in exchange for Ukrainian political prisoners held in Russia, Ukrainska Pravda reported, citing Iryna Gerashchenko, vice speaker of parliament and member of the Trilateral Contact Group.
