Three Ukrainian soldiers killed, one injured in Donbas in last day
Three Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another one was injured in the Donbas conflict zone in the last 24 hours, presidential administration spokesman for the Anti-Terrorist Operation Colonel Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Saturday, according to a UNIAN correspondent.
On Sunday, the Ukrainian military reported fewer ceasefire violations, but they also reported that Russian-backed proxies had used artillery for the first time since the newest ceasefire was signed. Ukraine Today reports:
The situation heated in Mariupol direction, where 5 violations of “regime of silence” were recorded. Russian proxies attacked strategic positions of Ukrainian army in the village of Shyrokyne using banned by Minsk agreements 122 mm howitzers. Nearby positions were attacked with medium mortars of 82-mm caliber.
