Rada Votes To Allow Yuriy Lutsenko To Become Prosecutor General Despite Lacking Law Degree

The Rada has passed a bill allowing President Poroshenko’s ally Yuriy Lutsenko to be nominated for the post of Prosecutor General despite lacking a law degree. In addition, Ihor Kononenko, against whom there are widespread accusations of corruption, has been reinstated as the deputy chairman of Poroshenko’s political party.
